There is an opportunity to undertake initial game and veld condition surveys for ecological monitoring and management purposes on Mogalakwena Reserves. This project is well suited to an Honours project, and requires that the student identify vegetative management units to calculate veld carrying capacity and subsequent game numbers. This project provides opportunities to develop skills in soil classification, plant identification and classification, game ranch management and establishing a reserves management plan.
